How results are ordered

Visibility is not for sale

We do not sell placement in search results and do not promote anyone for payment. We take no commission on agreed work, so we have no reason to favour a more expensive offer. If we ever introduce paid visibility it will be clearly marked as advertising, and this page will be updated before it goes live.

Provider search

The search is first narrowed by your filters: city, category and search text. The text is matched against the provider's headline and bio and the names of their services.

You choose the order yourself. By default, after filtering, providers are ordered like this:

1. First, those who have completed the most jobs through Pystyy. The counter rises only when an assignment is marked finished — page views and clicks do not affect it at all.
2. Where the number of completed jobs is equal, whoever visited the service most recently comes first: someone who opened the site today is likelier to reply than someone away for months. Providers with no known visit appear last within that group.
3. On a tie, the newer profile comes first. This keeps the order stable as you page through results.

Other sort options

The default is “Most popular first”, which counts assignments finished through Pystyy — not page views, clicks or impressions. A completed assignment is something two people confirmed, so nobody can raise their own position alone by reloading a browser. Where providers have completed the same number of jobs, whoever visited the service most recently comes first. You can also sort by newest or oldest profiles, or by lowest or highest hourly rate. When sorting by price, providers who publish no hourly rate appear last.

Featured providers on the home page

The home page shows a small selection in a different order, because who was here last tells a first-time visitor nothing. There, reviews and completed jobs carry the weight.

In the calculation:

• The rating is weighted by how many reviews it rests on. A single five-star review does not put anyone on top; the score approaches the real one only as reviews accumulate.
• Completed jobs separate providers who would otherwise tie, but the effect levels off rather than growing without limit.
• Sample profiles always appear after real providers.

Tasks matched to a provider

A provider sees a task only if they have a published service in the same category, the task's city is within their service area (or their home city, if no area is set), and they have not already sent an offer. These conditions are also shown on the Matching tasks page.

Open tasks

You choose the order of the task list yourself: newest, most popular, oldest or by budget. Newest first by default, so a task published moments ago is not buried under older ones. “Most popular” means the number of offers received — writing an offer takes real effort from a provider, so the figure cannot be inflated artificially.

Reviews

A review can only be left for a job that actually happened. We do not remove reviews at a provider's request and do not edit their content. Moderation can hide a review only if it breaks the terms, and tells its author why.
